Nutella Reveals Australia and New Zealand’s Top 50 Dishes for 2026

Nutella® Foodservice celebrates 50 standout dishes from venues across Australia and New Zealand.

Nutella® Foodservice has revealed its Top 50 Nutella® Dishes across Australia and New Zealand for 2026, celebrating the chefs, bakers, baristas and food artisans finding creative ways to bring the globally recognised spread to their menus.

Released ahead of World Nutella® Day on 5 February, the list returns for its second year with dishes from cafés, bakeries, restaurants, pizzerias, food trucks and dessert venues across every Australian state and territory, as well as New Zealand.

The 2026 selection demonstrates the range of formats in which Nutella® is being used across foodservice. Familiar menu staples including crêpes, waffles, doughnuts and French toast sit alongside less expected applications such as dessert gnocchi, sweet burek, stuffed roti, soft-serve spaghetti and strawberry sushi.

Among the featured venues are Pasticceria Papa in New South Wales with its Maritozzi with Nutella®, Honey Badger Dessert Cafe in Hobart with a Dutch puff pancake and Ciccio’s Woodfire Pizza in Melbourne with pan-fried dessert gnocchi served with Nutella® and vanilla ice cream.

The list also travels well beyond Australia’s eastern seaboard. Karma Cafe and Meow Waffee represent the Northern Territory, while Western Australia features dishes from Zeus Street Greek, Da Napoli Pizzeria and Ora Dough. New Zealand’s entries include Ali’s Turkish Bakery, Luna All Day, Wafflicious and The Grand Tavern.

Some venues return after appearing in the previous year’s Top 50 and are identified throughout the guide with a dedicated Hall of Fame icon.

A Source of Menu Inspiration

Beyond recognising individual venues, the Top 50 provides foodservice operators with a snapshot of how Nutella® is being applied across different dayparts, cuisines and business formats.

For chefs, the list offers practical inspiration for adapting a familiar ingredient to suit an existing menu. Some operators have kept the serve simple and recognisable, while others have incorporated Nutella® into culturally influenced pastries, plated desserts and contemporary bakery formats.

The downloadable guide also includes four official recipes developed for professional kitchens: Sweet Focaccia with Nutella®, Crumpet Bread and Butter Pudding with Nutella®, Croissant Toast with Nutella® and Knafeh Waffles with Nutella®.

Each recipe provides quantities, yields and methods designed to help operators test the concept and assess how it could work within their own kitchen.

The complete Top 50 Nutella® Dishes of 2026 guide is now available to download, giving diners a directory of venues to visit and foodservice professionals a fresh source of ideas ahead of World Nutella® Day.
