Burgers continue to be a well-loved menu staple, with cheese, toppings, and sauces providing an easy way to build flavour. The Smoky Beef and Maple Bacon Burger brings together rich, savoury and sweet elements, balancing the smoky flavour of the beef with maple-roasted bacon and adding chipotle for that extra kick.
This recipe shows how small ingredient changes can elevate the classic beef burger and create a much more unique menu offering without adding complexity to a kitchen. The type of bacon used, for example, can impact the texture and taste of the dish. Whether you’re using Streaky bacon, which brings a crisp, rich texture and pairs well with the sweetness of the maple, or Middle bacon, which provides a much meatier bite, each style can add a different spin on the finished meal.
